She got involved with the TV show “Naked and Afraid” after Discovery Channel reached out to her workplace looking for participants. Stacey saw this as an opportunity to earn money and applied.

In the show, she had to adapt to nudity, which she found initially uncomfortable due to the presence of clothed production crew members. However, she noted that people’s concern for each other’s safety and success overshadowed any awkwardness regarding nudity.
