Sam Brake Guia is an energetic and passionate Writer/Presenter.

Sam Brake Guia was born in Bristol, UK, in 1993 to a mixed heritage family. His father, half Venezuelan and half British, grew up in New York before moving to the UK, while his mother is fully British.

He briefly worked in technology sales but felt unfulfilled. Inspired by his father’s career as a flight attendant and their shared love for travel, Sam decided to embark on a journey, selling his possessions and buying a one-way ticket to the US.

Sam is an energetic and passionate writer/presenter, always looking for the next adventure. In August 2016 he donated all of his possessions to charity, quit his job, and left the UK.

Sam shared about: 

• When Sam struggling to find work, he turned to online writing and eventually secured a job with a media and PR company, where he discovered his passion for podcasting.
• He started a podcast within the company and found success, eventually leaving to found his own company, Podridden, focusing on the health and wellness space.
• Sam emphasizes the importance of guesting on podcasts for scaling, advising to actively seek out opportunities rather than just accepting inbound requests.
