Host and Owner of Backwoods Life, Michael Lee.

Michael Lee grew up as a sports and outdoor lover.

Michael was born in a small town in South Georgia called Cordele, raised on the Flint River and the banks of Lake Blackshear. His love for the outdoors started very young as his father, grandfathers, and uncles all took Michael out to hunt or fish. Michael also grew up loving sports and playing baseball for many years. After college, he jumped into the world of outdoor television after co-founding the TV show Southern Backwoods Adventures, which is now Backwoods Life.

Michael has been blessed to bring outdoor TV inside for well over a decade now and recently joined forces with his good friend and hunting partner, platinum recording artist, Brantley Gilbert. To say the least, he’s been busy over the years.
