The world-leading survivalist in Naked and Afraid, Forrest Galante.

Naked and Afraid with Forrest Galante

Forrest Galante is an American outdoor adventurer, television personality, and conservationist.

Forrest works in the field of wildlife biology, specializing in the exploration of animals on the brink of extinction. He made his first foray into television with an appearance on the Discovery Channel’s Naked and Afraid, where he participated in the show’s 21-day survival challenge.

As the host of the Animal Planet show Extinct or Alive, Forrest has overcome political turmoil and looked into the eyes of some of the deadliest animals on Earth. But he’s now facing a new peril — like many others around the world, the coronavirus pandemic has stopped Galante’s fieldwork as a wildlife biologist.

Forrest shared about:

  • Escaping Africa at gunpoint and making the show “Naked and Afraid” look easy.
  • His success of being an outdoor adventurer and a television personality.
  • When his interest in wildlife started.
