Chumahan Bowen is also an active Member of the American Academy of Estate Planning Attorneys, State Bar of California, Orange County Bar Association.
Chumahan is an American Indian from the Jamestown S’Kllalam Tribe and the Bad River Oneida Tribe. He was born in Orange County and raised on the Puyallup Indian Reservation. Prior to becoming an attorney, Chumahan was a Screenwriter and assistant to prominent producers John Davis and Wyck Godfrey. He continues to write and has several film and documentary projects in development. For the last ten years Chumahan has studied Lacanian psychoanalysis. He is a fan of philosophers Slavoj Žižek and Graham Harman. He enjoys traveling around the world, learning new languages (conversational Spanish), and being a dad (Papa).
