He found solace and purpose through a hunting event organized by the Wounded Warrior Regiment, where he connected with fellow veterans and experienced the healing power of nature.
An opportunity to film hunts led to four seasons on the Pursuit Channel and eventually to the founding of High Point Adventures.

- After serving in Babel province during the 2003 Iraq War, including the Second Battle of Fallujah, Bauduin faced addiction and the devastating loss of both parents to cancer in 2011 upon returning home.
