Megan Willets is a spirited adventurer, a storyteller, a curator of experiences, and a custodian of memories.

Megan’s journey through life has been as diverse as the landscapes she calls home. Born and raised amidst the charm of North Carolina, Megan’s love affair with her state has been a lifelong affair.

In 2019, Megan’s life took a poignant turn when she and her family settled in the embrace of the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Driven by a desire to honor her husband’s memory and seize each moment with unwavering resolve, Megan embarked on a new chapter of her life.

Megan shared about: 

• Despite challenges like her husband’s passing and the onset of COVID-19, she found her way back to the mountains, where she feels at peace.
• A surprising encounter with Kodiak cubs in Florida, emphasizing the gentle nature of black bears compared to more aggressive species like Kodiaks.
• She  run two businesses, one involving guided hiking tours showcasing hidden trails and scenic views, and another focused on child-centered tours with nature-based activities.
