In 2012, He landed a writing gig on a show called, The Last Leg, which went on to get nominated for Bafta’s, Adam Vincent.
Adam Vincent published his first book, “How Not To Kill Yourself When Living In The Suburbs”.
Adam Vincent is a stand-up comedian and writer. There was a five-year patch where he became a nurse for the money, but getting into nursing for the money is akin to becoming an accountant for the vibe, that is, it’s ridiculous.
After realising the error of his ways, Adam made another questionable decision and moved his family from sunny Australia to Bedford, England. The move paid off as he went on to spend ten years as a core writer for Channel 4’s satirical comedy show The Last Leg which has been nominated for both BAFTA and Rose d’Or awards.
He also published his first book, How Not To Kill Yourself When Living In The Suburbs.
Adam shared about:
- He started stand-up comedy at 19 and continued despite early struggles and at 26-27, he felt uncertain about making a living from comedy alone and decided to study nursing while still doing stand-up.
- He spent time in the UK, where he became a writer for a comedy show called The Last Leg, a satirical comedy program about news events.
- Adam chose to prioritize stand-up comedy despite facing initial financial struggles and the ongoing challenge of balancing his career with family life. He continuously strives to enhance his craft in the ever-evolving world of stand-up comedy.
